12 Nov roof trusses
Woke up with a brewing chest cold, perhaps from transitioning from erratic temperatures (warm days, cold days). Made a move for Wayne Cromack’s pole barn construction. There was a massive crane lifting roof trusses and I had very little time to record the site. I was especially fascinated with the triangular stacks of trusses on wagons, almost like a sliced grapefruit with their sections animated by fleshy pink. They had great depth. It was a very dramatic day; rolling plains of dark grey with bellies of warm brights. Essentially entirely dark day. There were occasional sun bursts, which selectively lit up the landscape in bright streaks. It was extraordinary.
