I strive to challenge students not only to make a strong connection to what it is they feel and see but also to accept how they see. Further, they are encouraged to translate honestly to paper their vision, no matter how unconventional. Style is a result of this exploration. When teaching and learning are best, students naturally lead the class. They are so inspired by their discoveries and breakthroughs that this enthusiasm for a new way of seeing elevates the class to a higher level.
